Synopsis

Established in the year 1997, and aiming at having that civil community based on the concept of democracy, the Palestinian National Institute for NGOs is hereby representing a voluntarily complex for the non-government organizations, of various types, aspects and competences in the State of Palestine, and is thereby seeking to build up and develop them in order to set up for the implementation of social justice and the respect of the Palestinian dignity, and to ensure his/her participation in the administration of the public affairs.However, this Palestinian non-government organization, the Palestinian National Institute for NGOs, forms a natural span for the Palestinian community that abides by achieving its national goal, which the declaration of the National State of Palestine with its ever-lasting capital, Jerusalem. This, in turn, emphasizes the popular vision in the field of building up the national institution which is, nevertheless, a very crucial but core element in the process of constructing the infrastructure of the civil community.

Our Vision

Mainly our vision focuses on developing the Palestinian community and promoting it in all aspects, by using all means and services and somehow all the tools possible and necessary for this development process.

Our Message

To participate in the advancement and development of then national institutes through enhancing the institutional construction, developing the mechanisms that accelerate the raising process of our Palestinian community such as coordination, interpenetration, cooperation and deliberation amongst the national institutes sector, on one hand, and also among the government and private sectors, on other hand, in accordance with the strategic development plan that aims at promoting the Palestinian community, while, also, targeting the circulation and spread ,out of both culture an practice of the civil community in all local and international communities, for the purpose of steering and circulating the peace, justice and equality for all.

General Objectives

First:
The Palestinian National Institute for NGOs works for raising and advancing the institutions, by participating and acting apparent role in the preparation and designing of most effective but transparent administrative and financial schemes, and also it works for the building up of institutes cadre through carrying out well-prepared training courses, workshops and conferences.

Second :
It also works on applying the principle of transparency in the tasks performed by the Palestinian National Institute for NGOs, by way of effectuating rules, regulations and laws, and developing the issue of supervising their application.

Third :
It aims also at enhancing and promoting the volunteer work, and ensuring the role of women in the same and in the community advancement, as well as in encouraging the social ties and relationships.

Fourth:
It is a matter-of-fact that the Palestinian National Institute for NGOs intensively works on promoting and raising the Palestinian national affairs through creating lines of coordination, interpenetration, cooperation and consultation amongst the national sector institutions, increasing the interaction and exchanging know-how and experiences amongst them locally, regionally and internationally.

Fifth:
To exert efforts to provide the financial support needed for the national sector institutions through building up good relationship among the national institutions and the funding parties, and hold courses that aim at developing the expertise inside these institutions in knowing more about how to utilize these funds in carrying out projects.

Sixth:
Carrying out awareness campaigns and working out on the enhancement and raising of urban culture, and supplying the institutions with studies and analyses that will contribute in the formulation of public developmental policies and legislations, and creating general awareness about the most important daily quests which may impact the Palestinian community through setting up strongly well-firmed democratic civil community.

   Term of Membership

-   The institution must be a national origin and registered by the Palestinian competent authorities.
-   Paying annual subscription fees, equal to fifteen JD or the  equivalent.
-   The said institution must have its on by-law, that sets up expressly  the administrative/organizational levels.
-   To be effective and work in the fields and aspects provided in the definition of a non-government institute.
-   To harmonize its various activities with its objectives and goals,and its services shall not be restricted to its members only.
-   To have the institution abided by the decisions taken and the plans that will serve the community.

 

   Palestinian National Institute For NGOs Principles and Rules :

-   Observation of the Palestinian Constitution and respect of the law sovereignty.
-    Complying with the non-government identity of the Institute and the volunteer undertaking of the members.
-    Striking to democracy in decision-making and in the election  process of the institutions.
-    Working effectively on the accomplishment of member institutes’ targets and objectives.
-    Adhering to the provisions of the by-laws.
